This privacy policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on the imagine-homes.ch website (hereinafter “website”) by Imagine Homes AG (hereinafter “we” or “us”) and provides information about the rights to which you are entitled. I I . General principles for the processing of personal data

1. general principles

a) We process the stored data in accordance with the following general data processing principles:

The stored personal data is processed lawfully;
The processing of personal data is carried out in good faith and is proportionate;
The stored personal data is destroyed or anonymized as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing;
We verify the accuracy of the processed data. All reasonable measures are taken to correct data that is incorrect or incomplete with regard to its purpose, its collection or its processing;

b) Highly personal data
No highly personal user data is stored in connection with our website. There is therefore a low risk that the personality of a data subject will be violated.

c) Cooperation with third parties

The processor is the person entrusted by the controller with the task of processing the data. The data processing of the processor is limited to the purpose described/contained in the order. The processor shall process the data transmitted to it by the controller in accordance with the data processing principles listed above (see II/section 1 lit. a).

I I I . Collection and storage of personal data when visiting our website

When you visit our website www.imagine-homes.ch, information is automatically transmitted to our website server. This information is stored for a certain period of time in a so-called “log file”.

The following information is collected and stored until it is automatically deleted:

As soon as the purpose no longer applies or the statutory retention period has expired, the above-mentioned personal data will be automatically deleted from our systems.

There is a contact form on our website that you can use to get in touch with us. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered will be transmitted to us and stored. This involves the following data:

  • e-mail address;
  • Address, postcode/city;
  • telephone number;
  • date of birth;
  • Subject and content of the contact;
  • IP address;
  • date and time.

The processing of the above-mentioned information, which we receive from the user by e-mail or contact form, takes place in compliance with the processing principles (see II/section 1 lit. a). We store and process this personal data for as long as is necessary, legally required or permitted to achieve the purpose. As soon as the purpose no longer applies or the statutory retention period has expired, the above-mentioned personal data is automatically deleted from our systems.

We use Google Analytics to analyze how our website is used, for example to measure the reach of our website and the success of third-party links to our website. This is a service provided by the American company Google LLC. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, the Irish company Google Ireland Limited is responsible.

Google also attempts to record individual visitors to our website if they use different browsers or devices (cross-device tracking). Cookies are also used for this purpose. Google Analytics requires your Internet Protocol (IP) address, but this is not merged with other Google data.

In any case, we have your Internet Protocol (IP) address anonymized by Google before the analysis. As a result, your full IP address will not be transmitted to Google in the USA.

We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method for website visits in conjunction with the highest level of encryption that your browser allows. You can tell whether the page you are visiting on our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed lock symbol.
We also use other suitable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against manipulation by third parties. Our security measures are adapted in line with technological developments. However, complete protection against all risks cannot be guaranteed.
